2026 marks the 100th anniversary of our needlewoman's birth, which we will celebrate with connoisseurs of her art
"Art by Needle": An exhibition of Svetlana Babushkina's needleworks. February 22
The exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Svetlana Babushkina's birth and represents a careful collection of her artistic and decorative legacy.
The exhibition will feature:
- satin stitch embroidery
- cross stitch
- ribbon embroidery
- clothing
- magazines with publications of her works
- calendars with her embroideries
- the collection of thimbles
Each work is a story told through thread, attention to detail, and a love for this ancient craft.
Zhanna Shpits will sing her songs on family themes as a token of gratitude to the needlewoman.
